STEP 1

Print the measurement form

Note 1: if your elevator features 2-doors that service the same landing, use the two-door measuring form.

Note 2: to complete the measurement form electronically, you need to save the document on your device first.

STEP 2

Measure from inside the elevator cab with the landing door closed but cab gate open.

STEP 3

Take measurement 1 and 2 at each landing. See measurement instruction video and written instructions.

Measurement 1: distance between landing door and beginning of running clearance
Measurement 2
Measurement 2: door width from door stopper to door stopper

STEP 4

Record the measurements. If you are unclear about the measurements, you may also submit photos of the measurements.

STEP 5

Repeat the process at every level in your home.

Do not submit the same photos or measurements for each level/landing. You must submit photos and measurements of each landing as they can vary.

STEP 6

Submit measurements and photos.
